TECHIES (formally known as South Jersey Techies) is proud to share our next chapter as we expand into Eastern North Carolina — a place that holds deep personal roots for our founder.

Our story begins in New Jersey, but it truly took shape in Wilson, NC. While attending Barton College, our founder majored in Computer Information Systems, Business Management, and Business Administration, and it was there he fell in love with the people, the community, and the opportunities the area had to offer. After college, he gained valuable experience working in the Research Triangle Park and later in Wilson County, before moving back home to New Jersey to be closer to family.

Even before leaving North Carolina, he started a small web design business that he carried with him back to NJ. What began as a side project grew steadily alongside his professional career, until in 2004 he officially launched his own IT and Web Services company. Over the years, that company has grown into a dedicated team of 12 professionals delivering Managed IT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Web services to businesses up and down the East Coast.

Now, we’re excited to take the next step: formally expanding TECHIES into Eastern North Carolina. This growth isn’t just about business — it’s about coming full circle and giving back to the community that helped shape our journey. One thing is certain: our heart and future are invested in Eastern North Carolina.
