We’re building something special—strong client relationships, a talented technical team, and scalable systems—and we’re looking for a hands-on MSP Operations Director to help lead us into our next phase of growth.
The Role
As MSP Operations Director, you will be the operational backbone of TECHIES. You’ll own service delivery, team performance, process improvement, and client satisfaction—ensuring our operations scale efficiently while maintaining the high-touch service our clients expect.
This role blends leadership, strategy, and execution. You’ll work closely with ownership, sales, and technical teams to turn vision into reality.
What You’ll Do

Lead and optimize day-to-day MSP operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery

Manage and mentor technical staff (Help Desk, Systems Engineers, Field Technicians)

Own service metrics: SLA performance, ticket resolution times, client satisfaction, and utilization

Develop, document, and refine operational processes, SOPs, and workflows

Oversee onboarding/offboarding of clients, tools, and staff

Ensure effective use of MSP tools (RMM, PSA, documentation platforms, M365, security stack)

Partner with sales and leadership on capacity planning, pricing strategy, and scalability

Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or improvement

Act as a senior escalation point for complex client or operational issues
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in MSP operations or IT service leadership

Strong understanding of MSP service models, SLAs, and best practices

Experience managing technical teams and driving accountability

Excellent communication skills—technical and non-technical

Process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on problem solving

Experience with common MSP tools (ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne, Halo, Autotask, etc.)

Business-minded: understands margins, efficiency, and scalable growth
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
